Breedlove Acoustics

I was out playing at the Accordion and Fiddle Club last night (don't laugh!) and someone there that I know had a brand new Breedlove acoustic. He came over at half time to show it to me and let me have a try. It was really lovely to play and the thing was it sounded great. This might sound daft, but the only way I can describe the sound is to say that there was nothing in the sound I didn't want and nothing I would want to take out. The action on it was incredibly low. So low, I think it might be lower than my electrics! And this is how it came from the factory. Of course this meant that I was getting a bit of string rattling, but I'm sure that's something that's inherent in my playing and not a fault of the guitar. The finish was really high quality and it had quite a bit of inlay work which was all perfectly done. Personally, I prefer a more spartan look for acoustics, but there was no denying the quality of the work.

This is easily the most expensive/highest quality/best acoustic I've ever played and it was great. It was really well finished and you could hear where the money went. Just something else to add to the list I suppose :)
